Welcome to A Second Chance

As an all volunteer foster-based rescue group, successful adoption stories are the only compensation we seek! Our Foster Caretakers, who spend weeks or months loving the animals in their care, always want to know how their “babies” are doing once they have found their forever homes. We hope that the adoption of a pet is not the end of a process but the beginning of a relationship between A Second Chance Puppies and Kittens Rescue and our adoptive families. hi kathy, well first, coutiere's new name is "abby", and second, she is an absolute joy! She is showered with attention and love and gives it back constantly. She adjusted instantly to her new home & is protective of it, by barking when strangers arrive. She is amazingly well behaved, by not chewing anything except her toys and food. We discovered how much she loves water, when she jumped in the lake,although we don't allow that anymore. (i think she understands). In the short time that we've had her, she has learned, sit, shake, lay down, home, and car(she loves the car!) We couldn't ask for a better companion to join our family,thank you so much, and i'm sure "abby" would thank you too. I hope the pictures came through. john
