Description: Just picked this little fellow up from Broward County animal care and control. A few days ago witnesses saw him being thrown from a moving vehicle and then struck by a truck. Initially he had a concussion and was bleeding from his left ear. He also couldn't stand and ACC felt he may have a broken bone somewhere in his pelvis or dislocated pelvis. He can now stand and walk gingerly. X-rays at out Vet show his pelvis is fractured in THREE places. The good news is that the bones are in alignment and should heal fine without surgery in about 8 weeks if he is kept calm and quiet. He is a sweet boy and will give kisses to anyone who asks for one!
