Ever heard of the perfect dog?  That's what my foster mommy says I am!  I am five years old and did not have the greatest life before I came to A Second Chance.  I was dumped at the shelter pregnant.  When I was rescued I was very, very frightened of everyone.  I recoiled from being petted and really just wanted to be left alone.  I did eventually get adopted after I was done raising my pups but sadly, after many months, my family had to return me to A Second Chance due to a family medical crisis. 

So I landed back in foster care and with the patience and love of my foster mommy, I continue to come out of my shell.  I am still a little shy with strangers, particularly men, but when you meet me you will fall in love with my sweet face.  I love children because they do not feel threatening to me.  Even though I am a little fearful, I have never shown any aggression. 

I need someone who is kind and patient that will give me the time to warm up.  Once I know you and trust you, I will be bonded with you for life.  I am totally housetrained, not destructive (I don't have to be crated when my foster mom is away).  I love riding shotgun on car rides but I will sit in the back too!  I get along well with other dogs and love to snuggle in bed at night!  So yeah, just like my foster mommy says...the PERFECT dog!  Won't you consider adopting me?
